2020: ONWENTSIA CLUB

Historic Onwentsia Club will host its first Western Junior in 2020. First imagined as a seven-hole course in 1892, Onwentsia Club played host to the 1899 U.S. Amateur, 1906 U.S. Open and 1915 U.S. Women’s Amateur. The championship layout has been developed by a number of talented architects through the years.

2021: NAPERVILLE COUNTRY CLUB

One hundred years after it opened, Naperville Country Club will host its first Western Junior. Originally designed by renowned architect Tom Bendelow, the course was redesigned by Steve Forrest in 2005. The added length and rebuilt bunkers and green complexes make Naperville Country Club a challenging test.

2022: MIDLOTHIAN COUNTRY CLUB

Midlothian Country Club will host its third Western Junior championship in 2022. One of the founding clubs of the Western Golf Association in 1899, Midlothian has long been one of the most celebrated clubs in the Chicago area. The club has hosted a number of professional and amateur events, including the Western Open (1901, 1969, 1973), the U.S. Open (1914) and the Western Amateur (1901, 1917).
